Mildred Irene MacPhee Obituary, Death – Mildred Irene MacPhee, age 96, of Hardwoodlands, peacefully passed away on February 1, 2024, at the Colchester East Hants Health Centre in Truro. Born on April 8th, 1927, in Three Brooks, Pictou County, she was the beloved daughter of the late James William and Myrtle Alberta (Ross) Fraser. Mildred was a pillar of the Hardwoodlands community, residing there for many years and actively participating in the life of Hardwoodlands Presbyterian Church. She devoted her time to various roles, serving as a life member of the Atlantic Missionary Society of the Presbyterian Church, an elder of Hardwoodlands Presbyterian Church, and a former member of the Hardwoodlands Women’s Institute. Her open heart and welcoming spirit touched the lives of many who sought her guidance and support.

Survived by her sons, Merlyn (Laura) of Dundas, ON, and Norman (Sheila) of Enfield, NS, and her daughter, Lynn (Stephen) Davis of Charlotte, NC. Mildred leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to her family. Her grandchildren, Grant (Amanda) MacPhee, Kaitlyn (Glenn) MacLean, Jessica Davis, and Matthew Davis, along with her great-grandchild, Madilynn MacPhee, cherish the memories of their beloved matriarch. In addition to her parents, Mildred was predeceased by her husband, Robert A., and her daughter, Sherry. She also joins her sisters, Annie, Catherine, Jean, Evelyn, Georgie, Jessie, Mary, and her brothers, Donald, Clyde, and Jim, in eternal peace.

Mildred will be remembered for her compassionate spirit, selfless acts of kindness, and unwavering commitment to her community and family. Her legacy will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing her, and her memory will forever be cherished.
