Mildred Ackley Obituary, Death Cause – Mildred Marie Schott Ackley, age 96, of Caldwell, Ohio, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at Altercare Summit Acres in Caldwell. Born on September 4, 1927, in Caldwell, Mildred was the beloved daughter of the late Henry U. and Laura E. Zwick Schott. Her life was a testament to love, family, and the joy found in simple pleasures. Mildred’s faith was a cornerstone of her life, and she was a devoted member of St. Stephen Catholic Church in Caldwell, where she found solace, community, and strength in her spiritual journey. She was also an active member of the C.W.C., where her compassion and dedication to serving others shone brightly.

Mildred was a woman of many talents and passions. She found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including quilting, gardening, and solving puzzles. Mildred was preceded in death by her brothers, infant Henry Urban Schott Jr., Paul Schott, and Robert Schott, as well as her sisters, Dolores Archer, Beulah Cardarelli, Pauline Schafer, and Betty Oertle.

She is survived by her two daughters, Patty (Ron) Dimmerling of Sarahsville and Pam (Don) Bickford of Cumberland, Ohio, and her four sons, Jim (Charlene) Ackley of Plymouth, MN, Jeff (Debra) Ackley of Zanesville, OH, Rick (Angela) Ackley of Caldwell, and Dave (Theresa) Ackley of Caldwell. Mildred’s legacy extends through her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored and cherished deeply.
