Born on April 8, 1936, in New Ulm, MN, Randine was the beloved daughter of Henry and Edna (Malmberg) Haugley. She spent her childhood in Faribault, MN, where she was raised alongside her siblings with values of love, compassion, and resilience.
A Lifetime of Love and Devotion
On October 8, 1955, Randine married the love of her life, Clifford Meehl. Together, they shared a home on the “north end” and raised their three children, Cynthia, Curtis, and Rebecca. Their enduring love and partnership served as an inspiration to all who knew them.
Dedication to Work and Community
Randine was a dedicated Avon Lady for 50 years, serving her community with grace and integrity. In addition to her work with Avon, she also held positions at the Faribault Canning Company, White Mart, and the Faribault Regional Center. She was a lifelong member of First English Lutheran Church and actively participated in their Altar Guild. Randine was also a cancer survivor and participated in several years of fundraising for the Rice County Relay for Life, showcasing her resilience and determination in the face of adversity.

Randine had a great love of quilting, especially during her “Sister Sewing Days.” She poured her creativity and passion into each quilt, creating beautiful works of art that will be cherished by her loved ones for generations to come. Randine’s greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also dedicated much of her lifetime to compiling genealogical information, preserving her family’s history for future generations to appreciate and cherish.

She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren: Cori, Bailey, Logan, Devin, Katie, Tatum, Eleanor, Clifford, Birdie Jo, and Leonard. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings: Diane Juvland, Patty Sandman, Barb (Bob) Wegner, Henry (Dorothy) Haugley, and Donna Ondler, as well as many nieces and nephews who adored her.
