In 1975, Reeda embarked on her career as a real estate agent, eventually earning her license as a broker in 1977. She went on to establish herself as a prominent figure in the industry, serving as the owner and principal broker of Coldwell Banker Longhunters Realty until her retirement.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Reeda was deeply committed to serving her community. She actively participated in various clubs and organizations, including serving as the past president of the Glasgow-Barren Co. Chamber of Commerce and the Glasgow Barren Co. Board of Realtors, where she dedicated 14 years of service as a Director. Her leadership and dedication left an indelible mark on the community, inspiring others to follow in her footsteps.

Mattingly (Jared), Morgan Elmore Geiger (Wick), Owen Margaret Townsend Kruse (Augie), Charles Oliver Townsend, Micha Elmore Thomas (Jake), Lauren Carroll, and Lindsey Carroll.
