Rick was a true son of Auburn, having spent his entire life in the community he cherished. Born to Patrice and Richard A. Kulis, he attended Auburn High School, where he formed lasting friendships and laid the foundation for his future endeavors. After high school, Rick pursued higher education and obtained his Associate degree from Finger Lakes Community College, demonstrating his commitment to personal and intellectual growth.
