His love and devotion to his family never wavered. He is survived by his children Kathryn Pizzo, Gabriel Pizzo, Amanda Gaertner, and Issac Pizzo, along with twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Final Farewell

Private Graveside services were held on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at Gilead Cemetery in Hettick, Illinois, officiated by Rev. Don Durbin. David was laid to rest in Gilead Cemetery, surrounded by the peaceful serenity he found comforting throughout his life. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gilead Cemetery in Hettick, IL, honoring David’s memory and his connection to his hometown.
