Swanson, on June 2, 1953, in Anderson, Indiana. Together, they shared a lifetime of love and happiness until Elaine’s passing on May 6, 2013. Glen moved to the Fremont area in 1963 from Sparta, where he built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Throughout his life, Glen dedicated himself to hard work and service. He spent 29 years working at the Gerber Products Company, where he served as a maintenance supervisor until his retirement. Glen was preceded in death by his beloved wife Elaine, his son Patrick O. McDaniel, his parents Glenn and Nellie McDaniel, his grandparents Rosco and Goldie Creed who raised him, and his brother Dallas A. McDaniel.
