Logan David Woock Obituary, Death Cause – Logan David Woock, age 26, of Grand Rapids, MN, and Duluth, MN, passed away tragically on February 4, 2024, as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. His untimely passing has left a void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Logan was born on January 18, 1998, to William “Bill” and Linda Woock. He spent his early years in Eden Prairie, MN, before his family relocated to Grand Rapids in 2012. It was in Grand Rapids that Logan truly came into his own, growing and thriving within the community.

A Scholar and a Friend

Logan graduated from Grand Rapids High School in 2016, leaving behind a legacy of academic excellence and vibrant involvement in extracurricular activities. He was not only an exceptional student but also actively engaged in numerous groups, activities, and sports. His compassionate nature shone through in his dedication to working with special needs students at GRHS, leaving a lasting impact on all those he encountered.

Pursuing Academic Excellence

After high school, Logan pursued higher education at the University of Minnesota-Duluth, where he graduated in 2020 with bachelor’s degrees in both Chemistry and Computer Science. Throughout his four years at UMD, Logan showcased his talents as an IT Support Specialist while also being an active member of the Alpha Delta Nu Mu fraternity.

A Dedicated Professional

Following his graduation, Logan continued to reside in Duluth and embarked on a career as a Retail Systems Analyst for STCR Business Systems, based in New York state. Despite the geographical distance, Logan remained dedicated to his work, leveraging technology to connect and contribute to his team remotely.

Outside of his professional pursuits, Logan found joy in traveling, investing, and spending quality time with friends. He had a deep affection for dogs, particularly his beloved companion, Crosby, whose companionship brought him immeasurable comfort and happiness.
